Responsibilities

The SE is responsible for the implementation of enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP), IDS, IPS, Web security, and WAN Optimization hardware and software solutions. As a member of an implementation team, the SE works closely with Solutions Delivery Consultants (SDCs) to adhere to best practices in the delivery of solutions. The SE serves as the technical interface with the customer, and is critical in assisting customer-assigned administrators with knowledge transfer and overall product knowledge. The SE utilizes a wide array of skills and technologies to accomplish implementation tasks and overall project objectives.

Required skills

• 3 or more years experience installing/maintaining enterprise security and WAN optimization solutions, and/or DLP solutio
• Understanding of a broad range of integration standards, messaging patterns and security
• Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Business analysis and business process understanding
• Effective technical writing and documentation skills
• Strong organization and communications skills; must clearly communicate technical issues and resolutions to key stakeholders, both orally as well as in writing
• Internal or external consulting background a plus
• Travel from 25% up to 50% (primarily Northeast US, possibly worldwide). We try to balance travel based on employee and family balance.

• Blue Coat ProxySG certification
• Cyber-Ark
